The Chicago Mass Choir is a gospel choir from Chicago, Illinois in the United States.
The group was founded in 1988 by James C. Chambers, who also founded the Ecclesiastes Community Choir. Their debut album was released in 1991 and that year they were named Best New Artist at the Gospel Music Excellence Awards. The following year, they won Song of the Year for «I Can Go to the Rock». They released several commercially successful albums throughout the 1990s and 2000s. Percy Gray is also a member of the Chicago Mass Choir.
At least 16 of their productions have charted on Billboard’s gospel charts. They have been nominated or won Grammy, Dove, or Stellar Awards numerous times.
